This new batch of our Hodge Podge yarn is now available in our store! Each skein is one of a kind with various fiber contents! We've had numerous customers tell us how much fun they've had knitting with this yarn and posting progress pictures of their projects on ravelry!  Blue Mountain Farms Hodge Podge Yarn!  Blue Mountain Farms Hodge Podge Yarn! Fun day at Blue Mountain Farms! We had a goat milk soap & lotion class where the scents of the day were vanilla swirl and island nectar. Madi taught a beginning weaving class gifted to the student from her daughters as a birthday gift! And finally we hosted a mill tour with a wonderful 4-H Alpaca Club group! Everyone worked hard in their classes and then enjoyed a delicious lunch full of fall inspired favorites! We also started prepping for the fun activities we will have at our Holiday Open House on December 3rd, so mark your calendar's for the fun day!  Soap Making 101... Safety first!  Mixing the oils for the nanny bars!   Learning how to make goat milk soap and lotion  4-h group watching the mill video during the tour  Warp for the weaving class  Madi focusing on her determined student!  We even had a chance to snuggle a Seeing Eye Puppy! Pure white Angora roving waiting to become yarn this afternoon! Too pretty not to share.  ... In other news, we're over here processing camel roving on Hump Day! 🐪  |
