Spring time and warmer weather = shearing season! Along with shearing season comes more fiber from our UPS/USPS carriers! With that said, we just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing our very best to stay true to our turn around time and take good care of everyone's individual batches of fiber!

Feels good to be back after a busy weekend in Maryland! Today's agenda... Scheduled Mill tour, cheese making 101, luncheon, and processing! Never a dull moment!  So proud of my girl Madi Shaw and can't thank Kelly Miller enough for teaching Madi how to use her knitting machine. She was able to finish her dress just in time for Maryland Sheep and wool festival. It was a blend of fiber from Queen Bee a Leicester longwool given to Madi a few years ago from Kelly. It also was awarded the Leicester article special award! Thank you Willow Brook Farms for donating this award.  Madi's award winning dress at Maryland S&W We're here!!! Booth set up for the 2017 Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival has begun!  All set up and ready to go! Let the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival begin!  Just welcomed the newest little member here at Blue Mountain Farms!  It's the final countdown to this year's Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival this weekend!! Its been a whirlwind this week, but we are super excited! We've been working on some last minute things in the mill before we are headed to the fairgrounds Friday! We will be in the Main Expo Hall again this year at booth C21! Look forward to seeing everyone there!      |
