We're set up and ready to go at the 2016
Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival in Berryville, VA this weekend! Here are some pictures of our booth. It was a team effort! And so it begins... This will eventually be the Balconet Shawl by Jocelyn J. Tunney with our own 3-ply Sport Weight Angora yarn!
After a busy weekend in the mill trying to complete a few batches of yarn for customers fast approaching fiber festivals, we decided to take last night off for an enjoyable night at the 2016 Denver Fair rabbit show. Today, all the bunnies are back home and tucked into their pens and were back at it in the mill! In addition to a family filled night of memories, Madi walked away with champion in showmanship, Matt received Reserve in Show with his Satin, and Ashley's Giant Angora received Best in Show! Thanks to Janet Fasnacht and Miranda Doughnut for running such a smooth show and to Judge Graybeal for all of the comments at the show table!
Shared on Facebook from "Lovin' The Light" - Snuggled in Wool Rovings that I picked up in PA last month... such an adventure to meet the family that owns the lamb and who sheared and processed this cream blanket!
Our newest batch of Blue Mountain Farms Hand-Dyed Sock Yarns! They will be available at the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival on September 24-25, 2016 (as well as in our yarn store) along with other goodies for your stash! Hope to see you there!
