Tomorrow's shearing day! If you'd like to come out and be a part of our shearing day to watch the sheep and goats get their "haircuts," you and your family are more than welcome. We will be shearing from 10-3. To those interested in joining us, we will also show you around our fiber mill, you can meet the spring babies from this year so far, visit our yarn shop, and we will have hot dogs and chicken corn soup! Hope to see you tomorrow!

"Take one married couple with no farming in their background, add three kids and toss 4-H into the mix. What do you get? The answer is: a family of farmers and entrepreneurs." If you've done you're homework and believe in what you're doing, you need to keep on going. Wonderful article by Sue Bowman on page B3 in this weeks Lancaster Farming paper! Check it out!
What a week! Lots of white snow outside... And more white fiber inside! Even with almost 2 feet of snow, we've still been working very hard to get your fiber back to you! Now bring on spring!
Currently at 17 inches and still falling! Stay warm everyone... Perfect day to play with fiber! A big thank you to everyone out there today working hard to clear the roads of this winter storm, including our dad and brother!
Posted by Madi and Ashley :) Luna, Madi's Nubian doe, just welcomed 3 little kids to the world this morning! One of which has quite the set of lungs on her! Luna and her kids are doing great.. You can meet them during a yarn shop/mill visit or during our shearing day next month! Now to name them... Meet the triplets everyone!
