Even though it is a lot of hard work, very early mornings are a breath of fresh air at the Christmas Tree farm! Madi even had a little helper today as we were working our way through the trees! The baby trees are really coming along!🌲🌲🦋

Time to dust off this pattern! This is the Balconet Shawl by Jocelyn Tunney- free download on Ravelry! Previously, we made a gorgeous shawl out of our white 50/50% Angora and Merino blend yarn for a wool/skein/garment entry. The drape was wonderful and the halo was so soft but didnt take away from the intricate design! What fun projects are you working on this summer!?
Good Morning from the newest little member at the farm! Madi loved and incubated this one lonely egg with low hope that it would actually make it, but it did! Only 6 hours old, but already spunky with quite the attitude!
This kid never knows what she will get into from one day to the next, but she is one busy bee! She's continuously bouncing back and forth between processing fiber in our mill, assisting Tyler on shearing calls, helping where she can to make hay, and taking care of her animals. She is a hard worker and we love having her as a key member of Blue Mountain Farms!
Spike loves helping to unload hay for the animals! He's such a great helper... or so we let him think!
Believe it or not, this was a bright white alpaca fleece! We blended it with a 15% red and black merino/silk combination and came up with this fun yarn!
