Last week Madi was on Spring Break and she decided she wanted to help us by designing new Wizzywig colors for Maryland Sheep & Wool this year!! Here's a little peek at what she came up with!
Wanted to share some happiness from this chilly Friday morning! Here's a picture of a corespun batch we did for a baby nursery! 🐑🍼💕
Sometimes you have moments that make you remember just how precious life really is! Last night was a long, late night! We've been very blessed with how well kidding season has been going, but that didn't stop our little Miss Elle from mixing things up and keeping us on our toes! Yesterday late afternoon Elle started showing early signs of labor. We kept checking on her but she just wasn't progressing as fast as she should have. Later in the evening, we decided it was time to step in and see what was really going on! Baby wasn't positioned, Elle wasn't progressing, and we knew it was time. After focusing, we managed to get the baby in position, but still nothing. The baby was completely stuck! We knew this wasn't going to happen on her own so after much frustration, worry, and tears, we managed to bring this precious little goat kid into the world! She was weak, but we took action quickly. If we hadn't, the outcome probably wouldn't have been the same! With animals, sometimes we are very lucky and other times it unfortunately doesn't go as planned. Thankfully, we woke up this morning with a good story to tell and a very thankful Mama goat who loves her little miracle baby!
Update: owner of the fiber has been found! ☺
Any claimers? This fiber arrived at our mill yesterday with absolutely no information provided, no order form, and no return address. Just a bag of fiber waiting to be claimed by their owner so we know how they would like it processed! Always make sure to include your contact information with your fiber when sending it to any mill! We just want to make sure everyone gets all of their fiber back!
