It has taken me a few days to get a chance to post about it, but I've had plenty of time to reflect on how fortunate I was to travel to another ARBA National Convention this year! I met new breeders, caught up with good friends, supported the D-9 youth, we shared laughs, indulged in some delicious food, and exceeded the expectations set for my rabbits on the show table! The youth of District 9, including my sister, wowed me by all of their participation and achievements at th...e National level... They should all be very proud! As for my rabbits, they all received good comments, placed 1st in 4 of the 6 Giant Angora classes, and my Intermediate buck "Shaws Fuzzy Friends Speedway" even went on to win Best Opposite Sex of Breed! Congrats to Deb Roe for her Best of Breed win with her Junior Doe and to my little sister Madi Shaw for her Best Of Breed Youth Giant Angora & Flemish Giant wins! We couldn't have asked for a more rewarding and exciting convention! Looking forward to Massachusetts next year... Posted by Ashley
