🐇🐇In honor of the American Rabbit Breeders Association Convention entries being due last night, why not spin a little Angora Yarn! ☺☺☺🐇🐇🐇
We had an amazing weekend at the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival this past weekend! We enjoyed everyone who stopped by our booth...especially those who came with show and tell of their garments made from our yarns they've picked up previous years! Its so rewarding seeing the joy people get out of the yarns we've produced from our mill! We also had the chance to help some fellow goat friends in the angora goat show, listen to a lecture of angora goat genetics by D. Phillip Sponenberg DVM, PhD, and Madi even showed two of her own goats this year to join in on the fun! The adventures we've gotten into and the people we've had the chance to meet through this fiber industry have been nothing less than priceless!

Hello everyone, We have appreciated and enjoyed each and every one of our customers over the past 16 plus years. You've shared your projects, your stories, and your talents with us. You've also watched as we moved our store from my mom's home to our farm on the hill when we added The Blue Mountain Farms Fiber Mill. Over the past five years, our focus has been changing. The kids have grown, Ashley is now engaged, Tyler is embarking new adventures with his life, and our little Madi is now a senior in high school. Who can believe that? She was just a wee one year old when our whole adventure began.
This brings us to where we are now. We have decided to pour our efforts and focus into the fiber processing mill, our own products, and exciting adventures to come. We aren't able to give the shop the time it deserves, so we've decided to dissolve it. Beginning this Saturday, September 15 from 10 - 3, we will start our liquidation sale. We will continue the sale until all inventory is exhausted, including special highlighted sale items each week. We will, however, be continuing with our Blue Mountain Farms Products and Fiber Mill, and that will be our primary focus. We hope to see you all throughout the duration of this process, and be sure to stay tuned for some exciting things that will be happening with Blue Mountain Farms and our family in the coming months. This isn't the end for us, rather its the beginning of the next chapter for our family business as it continues to grow!
Starting this Saturday, September 15, from 10 - 3, everything in the store will be marked down. All Blue Mountain Farms Products will receive a 10% discount. All commercial yarns will be at least 25% off. All patterns and books will be 35% off and all notions will be 20% off. The sale will continue through our normal business hours next week, September 19 - 22 : Wednesday - 10 - 4, Thursday - 12 - 7, Friday 10 - 4, and next Saturday - from 10 - 3. We will be closed the following Friday and Saturday - September 28 & 29 to attend Shenandoah Fiber Festival. Additional dates will be announced the beginning of October.
